So does this threaten the hope of herd immunity or does it mean more research into the virus possibly being bi-phasic? To have it then clear not 1 but 2 negative tests and then again show positive raises some eyebrows.

Probably a reactivation like we saw in South Korea, not a reinfection. But we’ll see.

We better hope so, because I don’t think a vaccine would be possible if there was no immunity?

either way, it comports with the many reports of 2nd positives and, well ... we can't be at the beach and in the sun all year long (unless skin cancer is a viable alternative) ...

So far, no spike in coronavirus in places reopening, U.S. health secretary says
Doina Chiacu
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. authorities are not yet seeing spikes in coronavirus cases in places that are reopening but it was still too early to determine such trends, health secretary Alex Azar said on Sunday.

“We are seeing that in places that are opening, we’re not seeing this spike in cases,” Azar said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. “We still see spikes in some areas that are, in fact, closed.”

However, Azar said identifying and reporting new cases takes time. A critical part of reopening will be surveillance of flu-like symptoms in the population and other hospital admissions data, as well as testing of asymptomatic individuals, he said.
“It’s still early days,” Azar cautioned in an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation.” He said data will take some time to come in from states that reopened early such as Georgia and Florida.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended wearing masks in public settings to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. A new study suggests that cases of COVID-19 could be cut significantly if 80 percent of people heeded this advice.
The research, published by a group of international experts, created a model that shows the cases could be cut significantly if "(near) universal masking" is adopted.
"Universal masking at 80 [percent] adoption flattens the curve significantly more than maintaining a strict lockdown," researchers wrote in the study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed.

I don't even care if it's peer-reviewed because the "peers" are all biased, too. I'm not wearing a mask, at all, ever, for this virus. We need it to spread among the less vulnerable groups while advising the vulnerable to take precautions.

Wait, really? So does my mask prevent someone from contracting a disease from me, in the general public setting? Who says? The lying CDC? Those fools aren’t trustworthy. So show me a reliable, trustworthy study, not run by lying scientists that proves wearing a mask saves a soul from dying, in the general public setting, and I’ll reconsider.

Massive load of nonsensical bs from you but ya know what, it's not surprising coming from you and if you want to be an idiot and not wear a mask that reduces your risk of getting covid-19, be my guest.

Natural selection will run its course on those who choose to be stupid.
