Yep tornado in ATL metro for sure CC dropping out quickly....

Well it’s earlier runs had less but ATM there’s more CAPE than what it showed earlier, it’s catching up

It might be barely missing the airport and I mean barely but those suburbs are highly populated
The line is about to go through the area, but nothing tornadic.

The first couplet faded but could ramp up again and there are a few areas south of that in that cell that could go in the next 5-10 minutes
Edit: especially that area east of Lake City/Conley
Not a good look. That boundary of unstable air is moving north, very quickly I might add. And I don't like those storms forming in the Upstate.

Getting busy, new couplet just west of Macon could be a big problem, needs warning now looks to miss Macon just west...
3 areas to watch along that QLCS as well, QLCS tornado threat is really going up 
Surprised no warnings on those. Both show signs
To be honest, the rain picked up for about 5 minutes...alittle gusty and then it stopped! The tornado was NW of me about 3 minutes away. No really lighting tho.
Going to have a tornado warning in NE Georgia soon

Very impressive 3z sounding out of Atlanta this morning, extremely favorable environment for strong tornadoes
We are done now!
Does anyone have a feel for whether or not the band of storms near the AL/GA border could potentially produce anything severe later in the ATL area? Right now it has no severe warmed storms and I was hoping that what is going through now will be it.

CAPE > 1000-1500 j/kg is advancing rapidly into the southwestern piedmont of NC, this is considerably more than what the 3km NAM & HRRR showed yesterday. Not good.
