Does anyone use the RadarOmega app? Costs 8.99. My buddy keeps telling me that’s what I need. My laptop crashed so I’m only using an iPhone 11 or iPad. I have noaa radar pro but I can’t seem to get the settings right with it. Thanks.

Why are so many venues scheduled for June cancelled? It's not even a foregone conclusion we're going to still be on lockdown in June. It's even feasible it could end (at least to an extent) by the end of May.

I am supposed to go to the beach twice in June. Hope they are open by then.

It only takes one bad tornado or strong winds or hail to do some structural damage to your home. The easter thread is out of control with which April storm will be the worse. SMH!!

Watching Untold Stories of the ER for the first time in a while...one of the cases presented turns out to be a drug mule where the person swallows the drugs to traffic them...sheesh wow. The balloon burst, and it made her ill.

They're going to be a crime scene in a moment and they'll have to track down that strange friend who was with her.

Edit: Wow, well that was a twist. It looks like two guys posing as detectives may have managed to scam them and made off with the drugs. Let's see if they truly get away (edit: it doesn't get into if whether they did or not).

I'm just now getting around to doing the math, but this was my departure from normal temps since I've had a station up.

August: +.4F
September: +7F
October: +4.9F
November: -.5F
December: +7F
January: +7.8F
February: +3.3F
March: +8F
April: +1.6F (so far)

So, we have a pandemic going on and a potential tornado outbreak on Easter. Anyone feel like someone is trying to tell us something?

Absolutely. I'm thankful I didn't live through World War 1, the Spanish Flu pandemic, the Great Depression, World War 2, and that I wasn't alive to be drafted to Vietnam. I will gladly sit at home like a Meanie butt and enjoy my air conditioned home with my uber eats app.

What planet are we living on now?

It's going to suck if it's July and people are still being asked to stay home. Think about all the poor elderly people who dont have air conditioning.

Take it down

I'm sort of already going a bit stir crazy. Although I've watched a few things today that are interesting, I also revisited my age 16-18 year old days a bit on Mario Kart Wii where I raced with hackers (on purpose), eventually hacked items (for the loss, but it wouldn't matter for most normal people), which is still on plenty of video on youtube, and used texture hacks/played CTs.

I still don't regret doing either, although I sometimes wonder about how I'd have done if I had mostly raced for real as I was beginning to really improve at that game when I chose my pathway, and as an adult, understand how most (outside of some exceptions) may have just been annoyed even if you were purposely losing. It's not something that I'd do now, in fact I haven't played on a game console for several years either.

I do now play mobile games though, mainly Mario Kart Tour right now. If anyone plays that on here, I've thought about releasing my friend code (there is one in there), but I'd need to alter my username because I put my last name there.
If Covid-19 has any positive spin to it, it's the fact that I have been able to burn thru a lot of my backlog of video games on Switch, PS4, and XBO since a lot of big games are getting delay for months or into 2021. I haven't played MK Tour in months, it's a very disappointing mobile game for me which is saying a lot because I'm a huge MK fan. I'm ready for a MK9 right about now. I'm burned out on MK8 since I played it to death on Wii U/Switch. I think about my nephew who's 5yrs old. He is the textbook definition of a Nintendo Fanboy. I bought him his own Switch for Christmas last year and he's been playing it like crazy. Anything with Mario and Sonic in it and he's down. lol He's also really into retro games from the NES/SNES which kinda surprised me. He's a true hardcore gamer.

I find it interesting that there have been 62 F5/EF5 tornadoes in the world since 1950 and 59 of those occurred in the US. Any particular reason why the US gets so many more tornadoes than any other country ?

I do have a couple problems with MK Tour, but overall it's not bad for being a mobile game. It'd be better if you could turn the phone to landscape mode and use the tilt mechanism to drive (like Crash Bandicoot on the iPod Touch for me when I was much younger), I don't love that there isn't any way to stop once the race starts, I don't love that you can't drive off road and it's hard to fall off (the first issue makes it tough to take some shortcuts even with a mushroom, and the second issue makes the game too easy, outside of the SNES Rainbow Road's, I honestly don't need for it to be hard to fall off), and the fact they decided to not make much of the game a lump sum payment like Super Mario Run.

Other than that, I find it to be fine.

Maybe part of the reason is because I haven't been on a console regularly for ages though (which will continue), and the other part is I don't try to play a lot. I still remember turning my mom down when she asked if I wanted the Wii U. I don't regret it.

I simply needed to. My last console that was given to me as a gift was the 3DS and I turned out to not play it a whole lot.

That was one of my main problems with the game. Of all Nintendo mobile games to not be in landscape mode this was not one of them. When I first played it when it came out, I was annoyed with the microtransactions. It felt very intrusive and honestly dumb because that monthly pass was not worth the value of the money they were asking for. I was really disappointed in the lack of course selections, it was only a small handful that was on repeat. For me, this game was a slap in the face to the beloved franchise itself.

It's funny, I feel like the older I get the more I want to play video games. Maybe it's partly because of my niece and nephew and seeing how each of them are growing up in a different generation of gaming than I did. My first console I played on was the SNES when I was 4 or 5 years old because my sister had one and I played with her every once in a while. I missed out on the entire generation of Nintendo 64/Playstation 1 because I lost interest in gaming, it wasn't until the Gameboy Advance/Gamecube came out and got both for my birthday and Christmas that I got back into video games again.

Also considering the Wii U was the worst selling Nintendo console of all time and the majority of their games have been remastered and ported over to the Switch you didn't miss much by turning it down. ?

Dating back to the wright weather days, seen a lot of commentary on Spann but to be honest, this is the first time I have ever listened to him and he seems pretty on point, even roasted a weenier or two.

Just watched that video, man I like that guy. Idk what the opinions of him are here but he's pretty blunt about the reality of the situation, and I like that he is aware of the heightened anxiety due to the pandemic and that forecasts like these are not meant to scare anyone but are a part of his duty of warning the public of potential danger.

This is the one for me. I remember that I had a nasty supercell move through around 9-10 at night. Was under a tornado warning and even got some golf ball sized hail from it as well. Probably the most intense storm I have been in the last 10 years.

radar was littered with hooking supercells. Should have taken it as an omen. Was the night before I married my first wife. Marriage lasted 10 months lol.
