Severe Severe Threat April 5th-7th

A thought... How about starting a thread to post links to local station live streams. Maybe save and organize them for future events also.
Good thought/idea!
If I included the local TV in this - you could, as I do, go 100% the opposite way, and be correct every time ... LOL at WCJB

The local mets in HSV area have been fairly spot on lately, I'm not going to second guess them...yet :p

Well, JAX is getting the idea ...

I'm ggonna man assume SPC goes high risk for parts of SE Alabama into central southern Georgia especially around Macon
A high risk that far north would be unprecedented for SPCs new rating scale.

In Georgia I might add.

Thanks, Phil! My hometown

And do you have anything nice to say about Jacksonville, FL? I don't and ... :p
Not berating Macon at all - but it is stuck slap dab in the middle of the state and it has a load of peach trees, a funky interstate, and good outdoor sporting just outside and good BBQ inside!

My aunt lived in Jax years ago, so unfortunately don't remember much about it Macon is, well....Macon. Lol. Stay on the north side and you're good. Worried about mom there tomorrow - she fortunately has situated herself in a safe place. She is in Jones County and had some tree damage yesterday.

No offense to anyone who lives in Macon, but I've never been impressed with Macon. It looks dirty, crime ridden, flat, ugly, and hot. Again, no offense to anyone who lives there lol.

Does anyone know when they update the risk area ? Just curious if they will upgrade to high risk for areas south of Atlanta.

Hey! Hope you know I'm joshin' a bit - Jax is where I grew up and unless you like a screwier interstate than Macon, the smell of coffee 24/7/365 and some local politics, Jax is not a bad town.
In all seriousness, I love Macon (it is though slap dab in the middle) - I'm up there a lot and know some really nice folks - business and personal - so please take my joshin' as just that.
As for your Mom - if she's got cover and a safe place -- what more can you do? Here's praying she, and none of us, have any more damage and that this is all relegated to banter and a grin by Thursday!
Best!
Phil

I have been gone from there for over twenty years - with no intention of going back except to visit mom. I feel you - no offense here.

I just watched a Fox 5 update on FB and David Chandley was showing future radar and the storm projections and was showing everything on the northside and hardly anything south of I 20. I found it interesting.

That is interesting. I've been thinking all along that most of the activity will be south of I-20.

You tell me this town ain't got no heart. Well, well, well, you can never tell.
The sunny side of the street is dark. Well, well, well, you can never tell.
Maybe that's cause it's midnight, in the dark of the moon besides.
Nothin' shakin' on Shakedown Street. Used to be the heart of town.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart. You just gotta poke around.
Since I'm passing your way today. Well, well, well, you can never tell.
I just stopped in 'cause I want to say, Well, well, well, you can never tell.
I recall your darkness when it crackled like a thundercloud.
When I can hear it beat out loud!

You say you are from Jax. My sister lives in Fleming Island. I like that area.

Anybody had a look at latest HRRR runs they are getting to midday and boy that aren't opposing the other models they may even be a Lil more bullish on the morning midday stuff as stp is slightly higher and further north as day progresses

According to the TWC, SPC wants to see how it plays out in the morning before upgrading to high risk.
