Classes cancelled at University of West Georgia tomorrow.
Good thought/idea!A thought... How about starting a thread to post links to local station live streams. Maybe save and organize them for future events also.
It would defy logic not to ...I'm ggonna man assume SPC goes high risk for parts of SE Alabama into central southern Georgia especially around Macon
A high risk that far north would be unprecedented for SPCs new rating scale.I'm ggonna man assume SPC goes high risk for parts of SE Alabama into central southern Georgia especially around Macon
Macon is north??A high risk that far north would be unprecedented for SPCs new rating scale.
I'm Georgia I might add.
Maybe i need to clear my statement up I'm talking south of AtlantaMacon is north??
no - it is stuck in the middle (of very little but peach trees and the screwiest damn interstate interchange I've ever seen going 75 N) but I love Macon - don't get me wrong ...Macon is north??
Central. Point was there hasn't been a high risk north of South Georgia since SPC changed their rating scales. I consider Henry county northward to be the northern third of the state.Macon is north??
When did SPC change their rating scales ?Central. Point was there hasn't been a high risk north of South Georgia since SPC changed their rating scales. I consider Henry county northward to be the northern third of the state.

So you say there hasn't been a high risk north of South GA since they changed the scales. That means even places like Oklahoma and Kansas havent been under a high risk ?
Dude I just meant in Georgia. So sorry for the confusion. Carry on to the main thread. So you say there hasn't been a high risk north of South GA since they changed the scales. That means even places like Oklahoma and Kansas havent been under a high risk ?

Not berating Macon at all - but it is stuck slap dab in the middle of the state and it has a load of peach trees, a funky interstate, and good outdoor sporting just outside and good BBQ inside!
No offense to anyone who lives in Macon, but I've never been impressed with Macon. It looks dirty, crime ridden, flat, ugly, and hot. Again, no offense to anyone who lives there lol.And do you have anything nice to say about Jacksonville, FL? I don't and ...

Hey! Hope you know I'm joshin' a bit - Jax is where I grew up and unless you like a screwier interstate than Macon, the smell of coffee 24/7/365 and some local politics, Jax is not a bad town.My aunt lived in Jax years ago, so unfortunately don't remember much about itMacon is, well....Macon. Lol. Stay on the north side and you're good. Worried about mom there tomorrow - she fortunately has situated herself in a safe place. She is in Jones County and had some tree damage yesterday.

I just watched a Fox 5 update on FB and David Chandley was showing future radar and the storm projections and was showing everything on the northside and hardly anything south of I 20. I found it interesting.Does anyone know when they update the risk area ? Just curious if they will upgrade to high risk for areas south of Atlanta.
That is interesting. I've been thinking all along that most of the activity will be south of I-20.I just watched a Fox 5 update on FB and David Chandley was showing future radar and the storm projections and was showing everything on the northside and hardly anything south of I 20. You tell me this town ain't got no heart. Well, well, well, you can never tell.No offense to anyone who lives in Macon, but I've never been impressed with Macon. It looks dirty, crime ridden, flat, ugly, and hot. Again, no offense to anyone who lives there lol.
You say you are from Jax. My sister lives in Fleming Island. I like that area. You tell me this town ain't got no heart. Well, well, well, you can never tell.
The sunny side of the street is dark. Well, well, well, you can never tell.
Maybe that's cause it's midnight, in the dark of the moon besides.
Nothin' shakin' on Shakedown Street. Used to be the heart of town.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart. You just gotta poke around.
Since I'm passing your way today. Well, well, well, you can never tell.
I just stopped in 'cause I want to say, Well, well, well, you can never tell.
I recall your darkness when it crackled like a thundercloud.
When I can hear it beat out loud!
I used to hunt there before it was what it is now ... but days gone byYou say you are from Jax. My sister lives in Fleming Island. I like that area.
