I’m wondering what the substance/details of these stay in place orders are? I’m supposed to help someone move this coming Saturday and I don’t want to get arrested/fined/etc., but they do need help moving....

I’ve heard different states, countries, etc. count deaths differently based on certain criteria and what not. I wonder if that is effecting death counts state to state and/or country to country in any significant way. I read an article about Italy’s deaths being inflated by the way they count cause of death compared to other countries. I can link the story if requested and dig and find it. Is cause of death and such consistent across the US? I just have to think all these are very rough numbers but I really don’t know here.

Good question. All I know is City of Durham is ordering stay in place, but the county isn't yet.
 
Just a note about the stimulus package, if you are self employed and forced to close down all business, you will still NOT be eligible for any unemployment compensation. This applies to all partnerships, Chapter S Corp's and single proprietors

Pitt county is but incorporated areas are not. So the city of greenville does not apparently have a stay at home order while county residents do. So stupid.
 
5,146 new cases in New York State. 2,952 new cases in New York City. 3,805 hospitalized and 888 are in ICU.

That does seem backwards from common sense. Really if a city is lockdown, then the whole county should be at a minimum.
 
At POTUS pc yesterday. Our total #s still dont have alot of local testing from some private hospitals,med facilities. They said those should start being added in soon. Need all of it .

My 2018 return is below $75k and my 2019 return is above, so I’m interested to see what happens. Maybe they would take the excess back based on 2019 returns when I file my 2020 taxes in 2021?

Doesn’t matter too much, a one-time $1,000 check isn’t going to do much for me either way. I’m not sure what the point of these even is, they should use it for unemployment benefits or to help small businesses which have been forced to close.
