I'm exhausted, if this storm makes a visit up here I might sleep through it Lol....
Let's see. We now have several Floridian members who joined because of this storm, it's the most intense hurricane for that part of the world, and oh yeah, NC has a chance at being effected. Yes I know over here we are about to become a desert again but that's what happens after months of above normal rainfall. I'm not sure I can say the same about your desert up there. This stupid ass hurricane is so boring! I mean wake me in 32 days when I get some sprinkles from a cold front! 99% of people on the board aren’t going to see a drop of rain! It’s like tracking a North Dakota snow storm, who gives AF
Just stop man.... everyone does not want a Hugo, just because some information gets shared that contradicts what you want. The ice is thinI give up everyone wants a Hugo I’m going to give them a Hugo
Worst hurricane ever! Should be a blast watching it crawl up the coast only to make landfall in ENC as a tropical depression. NEXT!
agreed. I hope my humor didn’t fall on deaf earsThat would be a giant blessing!
Another mega September ridge incoming. Maybe we will get a fall like air mass by DecemberYay! Still no rain for weeks! #FUDORIAN

no We know how early December works, winter storm, them torch, then we see a “favorable” pattern in the long range, we talk about how there’s gonna be many sleepless nights, then as time gets closer, the SER makes itself known, cherry trees bloom early, we then get 1 week or brutal cold, but to cold and to suppressed for snow, then the Bermuda high revs up its fryers with return flow with brief icing for the blue ridge/cad areas, and we get a decent amount of rain from it, and it warms up, same thing happens February, then March we get major AK ridging, and ridging trying to set up on Greenland, and it gets cold, with a few wintry threats, but we still manage to squeeze in a severe weather threat, especially at the end of March
We were socked under low clouds and convective debris for much of the day (with nothing to show for it besides sprinkles). Only topped out at 86*F.
I hate these lulls in between model runs.
? I’m sorry I didn’t mean to send you off on that tangent ??Thanks to Jimmy, I was spending most of my last hour or so looking at the old Xanadu Hotel and learning a bit about Howard Hughes.
Howard Hughes was a very interesting man that led a very interesting life that designed or played in part in designing a lot of things. He apparently made the first HAM radio in his area and also played a part in designing the modern hospital bed.
It's a shame that hotel has been abandoned, but sadly as recent as 2011, a timeshare resort deal was still sending people to that hotel. Where there was no air conditioning, no food, beverages, or ice nearby, no internet, and no staff or people around willing to help people with the essentials of life on what's supposed to be a vacation.
Oh, and to boot, the elevators were dodgy too.
Anyway, hopefully the Bahamas are able to rebuild after the impact of Dorian is over.
Presented without comment...
It might hit Raleigh though. Haven’t you heard? It’s in the coneYay!! Dorian is east, gonna miss land! Next
Atleast the letdowns are warming us up for winter storm tracking
I no longer consider September a fall month in the se any longer!
Great post man, you showed us!It might hit Raleigh though. Haven’t you heard? It’s in the cone
