And day 17+ on the GEFS is a snow pattern. Maybe we start winter off with a bang and then end it with a big coastal.

I don’t know why I follow winter weather. Everything gets hyped and then the day before the event things start trending bad. It just disappoints.

Yeesh, that Wambulance thread is poisonous. I post there to complain about the weather, but not to try to poke sticks in other's eyes.
Definitly not the place to go if you have thin skin or can't handle the heat. I still think it serves a purpose but it is a very thin rope to balance on.

I take it as more sarcasm than anything. It is hard to translate text as true sarcasm or just being cynical or mean sometimes.

Love to see GFS get better. Love the slow trend
He was a poster back in the day when most of us were on TalkWeather. He live in Mississippi If I remember correctly(might be wrong). When ever we had snow chances his home seemed to always have a hole of little or no snow compared to the surrounding area. So it was called the Rob Smith Snow Shield.

First of all it is "they're" and second I'm not trolling anyone. Just don't appreciate a MOD or an ADMIN acting like they're talking to their children. You treat us with respect and we will treat your MODS and ADMINS the same.

"Their" doing their job is incorrect. It would be "they're" since they're means they are.

Ha. We are both right. I was focused on the second one and you the first occurrence. It should be "They're doing their job."
Why am I correcting grammar? I'm a math teacher. Let's take some derivatives or something!

Teacher here. You are correct. "They're (they are)" doing "their" job over "there".

Fyi, many of the sites like NOAA ESRL some of us rely on for temperature, precipitation composites, etc are back up & running now.
Tuesday-- Rain before 5pm, then a chance of rain and snow. High near 46. South southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Tuesday Night-- A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 8pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 22. North northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm after midnight. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
