Yes please. Let's keep any storm out of the Gulf. Anything that goes in there will become a massive hurricane for sure, if little dry air is present.

its really amazing how long it's been since a major was in the Central/Northern Gulf... have to go back to about 2008... Gustav, just shows how crazy 2004/2005 was... very little since

Sadly I have a bad feeling about this one. If 91L was able to get to where it is and if it forms today, the CMC and UKMET were on the right track.Certainly seems if 92L develops it is the most likely eventual threat to the US...

Just a general statement, but aren't "I" storms usually the ones that are infamous for being bad? This one, if it forms, would be Irma.
Since 2000, 7 "I" storms have been retired, almost half so shut your mouth! Lol

The crazy uncle also has a weak tropical system in the keys @54, not sure where that came from..... anyway I'll hedge my bets that the CMC is overdeveloping, we shall seeAgain in the Gulf, again a big hurricane, and again NOOOO!
