Well, lucky for me, the front is supposed to fall apart coming across the mountains, then re firing to clobber CLT and SD! I wouldn't want any rain or anything! :(

The 18z GFS says we go back to our usual pattern in upstate SC. Fairly dry through day 16.

At 118 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Gainesville, moving southwest at 15 mph.
Wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph can be expected along with possible minor
wind damage.
Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, University Of Florida and Gainesville Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Central Alachua County in northern Florida...
* Until 415 PM EDT
* At 113 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain has already fallen
with an additional 1 to 2 inches.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gainesville, University Of Florida, Gainesville Airport and Newnans
Lake.
