Pattern Magnificent March

I'd say the system on the 9th has more potential than that post-truncation one.
So you’re saying there’s a chance lol
We just have to get a sheared shortwave into the mix before that trough and cold air associated with lift out. Threading the needle as usual but it doesn't hurt to have a deeper trough at the very least these darn bugs will die

I no doubt want to get these bugs killed. I have swarms of these bugs that are hanging out around my house and have a desire to fly at me every time I get within a few feet of them. Hopefully they get frozen.

Commence weenie excitement in 5...4...3....

No need for weenie excitement W of RAH! Don’t know if it’s a gfs feedback problem or what, but the precip all over the W Carolinas, with a coastal low, won’t happen ! . So we won’t need to nitpick p-types, cause it won’t be there

I'm already pulling ticks off me, so if Dec, Jan didn't get 'em, I don't think March will, unless we get down to 0 like in 73, and I've been swatting the occasional mosquitoes for weeks, so it looks like they ate Jan for lunch, lol, and are after me for supper. The one thing I didn't see in fall was the yellow jacket nests, so I hope they didn't go deep enough, and Jan got them for this year too.

Post-truncation will do that. Lol

Mid-Atlantic folks will like this one...surely this solution would throw backside snow into parts of NC on exit.

Is it me or have the gfs runs been getting a little colder as we get closer to getting rid of this warmth? It’s actually not been that bad today with temps in the mid to upper 50s. Tomorrow should get in to the 60s but then temps drop into the lower 30s by Friday morning. After that temps will start dropping below freezing at night time for the first time in a few weeks. Heck the gfs tries to drop some very wet snow here next Tuesday night. Temps don’t look to go below 34 that night so it won’t amount to anything if it does snow. At least as of now.

Some goofy looking happy hour solutions for goofus. I will be testing the generator tomorrow though in case things get bad Friday with the wind. Point-n-click has gusts to 55 Friday and 50 Friday night. Not a real high end event per the forecast but these things can be unpredictable here with high winds aloft.

I think both the cold and the 'snow' wink, wink, will be adjusting further south as we go forward into early March. Shoot me dead if I'm wrong.
