This has become one beautiful storm...just so happens all the ingredients needed and then some has allowed much of the south to see snowfall the past 36 hours. Pretty incredible. Anything else this winter and it’s just icing on the cake now. #Holidays2017

Does anyone have a link to the CC radar? Need to see exactly where the rain/snow line is at in the Atlanta area.

Could this moisture coming off the coast continue to train over the same areas all night long? Radar looks like it’s bringing it up from the coast NE right thru E Alabama into W Georgia

Just go to NEXRAD sites, click the radar that's closest to you, then you'll see a host of variables on the left side of the screen, and you should find what you're looking for there

HRRR wants to show some love for middle Georgia and perhaps even the SC Midlands by tomorrow morning... One can hope you guys get something too

If you actually look at the HRRR model it shows precip dying off there but regenerates the precip over central AL into GA

Rain/Snow line seems to be stalled...:/...not sure I'll changeover before midnight at this rate...The northwestern half of the metro is getting a historic storm and the southeastern half is getting almost nothing. It's crazy.

Local met here in Pensacola now on board with snow here in pensacola between midnight and 3 am.

Yep this is from the deformation band that's affecting areas from just NW of Atlanta down to south-central Alabama, and is anticipated to pivot through central GA and produce some snow even for areas well south of ATL

National weather service mentioned the snow chances tonight in there special weather statement. This storm may have another surprise in it. With temps dropping, another 1/4-1/2 inch would be sweet!
Don't under estimate the deformation axis if it does form.

I just don't get why the 850mb temps have stalled...like ugh. They were fine earlier and it was my 925mb temps that were too warm and now it's the opposite. I need to move from Conyers ASAP.
Power going off and on several times here in Acworth over the last 30 minutes. Limbs down in my yard and others. I could only imagine how it will look come first light in the am.

Probably more like 1- isolated 2" for Bham area 2-4" for E AL if band develops
