Wow at that heavy stuff coming from the southwest. The Atlanta metro is going to get demolish in the next hr or so....maybe those rates can change me over to mostly snow/sleet.

Sleet, snow, and rain in Sandy Springs. Minimal accumulations. Temperature at 34.
No snow in Huntsville. 30/23 just too dry.

Hopefully that band NAM, HRRR, and RAP sets up this evening/night. Latest HRRR is first image and looks real nice. Wouldn't be hard to lay down some accumulations over night.

Sleet/snow in Peachtree City
Probably a little over an inch. Some of it melted off during a break in snow.
This is the best snow event that I have ever had living in Alabama. I have had many 2-3 inch snows, but this one will eclipse 5 inches with rates continuing here, and it is beautiful.

the snow level in Upstate SC is reported to be about 1200 feet (Greenville sits at 1000 feet)

I think this is the most snow I have ever had in Bluff Park.
Snowing nicely. If it keeps up work is going to be real fun. Heavy bands about to cross AL/GA border North of LaGrange.

Coming down at a good clip now, first time I’ve seen snow since 2014!
Light snow / flurries near Hamilton Place in Chattanooga. Schools letting out 2 hours early lol
Got good snow in Snellville, GA, temp around 34.8 it's fallen 4 degrees since 10am! At school and the students are in awe of the flakes!

Rain/snow line has overtaken the Georgia Tech campus in midtown Atlanta. It's pretty much all snow, holding at around 34 degrees.
Nice bands to my SW about to get me good and many others. We are already pushing 3.5 inches here
