Already reports across high country of flurries and light snow. I’m in Johnson city currently and Iron Mtn still had quite a bit of snow on the side of the roads on the way over.
Down to 33 now I figure we will bounce back up once the thick clouds roll in

I decided to wait until tomorrow to go back to Greensboro. So GSO will probably get a miracle coating in the morning while it rains here in Durham.
Based on radar, precip already snow over WNC, temps, this is gonna over perform imo. Surprise coatings in a lot of areas. Jackpot 1-3” not only in Watauga/Ashe but maybe off the MTN too...just don’t know where yet

might start snowing soon in some areas if it reaches the ground, classic case of precip starting earlier, and soundings are initially supportive of snow per wet bulbs
