Melting layer bright band is about 4-5 thousand feet off the sfc on the KRAX radar, closer to 6000 to the south. If we could have gotten that inside 2,000 we might have seen some wet snow. The fact that it’s probably snowing 2000-3000 feet above our heads rn is smh

This was a nice little event. A trace of snow last night then went to sleet early in the morning to cold rain by 5 or so. Looking forward to the @Webberweather53 map.

I woke up at 4 didn't hear anything dripping off the house said omg it happened. Checked the radar just hadn't started and it was already 37 womp womp
