Ground turning white here at the office in Louisburg, I got 27 minutes before I can hit the door should be a fun drive to Halifax County... woohoo

We launched another sounding just 10 mins ago and the warm nose got absolutely obliterated, the warmest layer was about -0.4C in the lowest 150 hPa in/around Raleigh.

The ULL appears to be pivoting atm the precipitation is intensifying and back building some near the Triangle
This thing needs to slow down though, back edge from the south and the west making quick progress..... heck it will not only be over by the time I get home but gone at this rate lol

Yeah this mesolow just south of Raleigh is something to behold it's awesome.
Looks like southern Wake county is finally in the sweet spot. Looks like it is just to my south though here at Lake Wheeler

Really nice back end deformation band on the back side of this storm over Chapel Hill & Durham this should signal the end of the snow over the Triangle down the line but it'll be awesome til then!

Anyone have any reports from Randolph and Chatham County there’s not many LSRs and it’s hard to judge he amount of snow they’ve seen out there based on what’s been given

Better yet, I should ask what did everyone see out of this event in NC? (I just need the info for the final snow/sleet accumulation map that'll I put in an archive lol. Unfortunately some of it isn't attainable from CoCoRaHs or LSRs alone)
Maybe 5 total snow flakes mixed with rain in CHA.. seriously.. A few days before we saw more with an errant snow shower on the 8th. (not that you asked for my area, haha).
