Could be if la nina dominates. We could hope that December ends up colder. Which is a real possibility in a la nina.Nov -2-4 Dec +3-6 Jan +2-4 Feb +3-6

That feeling when the Florida panhandle has more snow than you do over the last three years…If Pensacola gets 8 inches of snow, I'll quit the forums for good.

The good news is it can be warm all winter, but all we need is a short period where it isn’t to cash in and exceed our yearly snowfall averages. Of course, a warmer winter gives us less shots at it, but in some ways I’d rather have a warm, wet winter than a cold, dry one.Another warmer than average winter , the norm these days
Just find a way to live another 150 years and you’ll have a legitimate shot

I love how the entire country east of the Rockies it shows “cold or very cold” temps but the southeast it says “average” temps.

I'll take an average winter over above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation any day of the week. Hopefully some of that very cold, snowy weather just to the northwest of the Upper South will move southeast and give us in the Southeast a winter we can write home about.
I swear this has been the prediction for the last 20 years.
Snow north of I 40 or above 2000ft, rain south of I20 unless you get the lucky Coastal scrapper like last year. In between is nothing but teasing and hoping for sloppy mix. Same as always. Can someone define winter battleground

One county north gets 8 inches, you get .5 inch snow to start, then transition to freezing rain and rain, then a heavy snow shower for 5 minutes on the back side of the system at the end to seal it all in.Cold rain or big dog storm
