If you were able to move to another state south of the Mason Dixon line where would it be, and why?
Northeast Tennessee for me. Mountains, more snow, still southern and I like Vol football games. If you were able to move to another state south of the Mason Dixon line where would it be, and why?
NE Tennessee is very pretty. Mom was born in Bristol on the Virginia side.Northeast Tennessee for me. Mountains, more snow, still southern and I like Vol football games.
Haha. I hear ya! Western NC is really nice. I'm definitely more of a mountain/elevation person than coastal. If I won the lottery and could build a "dream" home, I would stay here in NC. But, the house would be built on top of Beech Mountain (over a mile up in elevation). I actually own a second home in Boone (still needs renovations). I've got kids living in it right now going to App State. Even if they were out of the house, I would continue to primarily live at my current location. I love this area and we do seem to be in the "game" for most winter storms outside the mountains. Now if I won that lottery....
I don't think i'm familiar with Jonesville.Jonesville, Sc
According to the poster there it's 110-120 in the summer and never rains.I don't think i'm familiar with Jonesville.
LOL, Awesome. I absolutely loved heading to the beach when i was younger.According to the poster there it's 110-120 in the summer and never rains.
For a real answer to this question though I wouldn't move too far away maybe 50-75 miles W or NW from where I'm at to get a little better snow climo but still an easy drive to the beach
the Tri Cities area is beautifulNE Tennessee is very pretty. Mom was born in Bristol on the Virginia side.
It’s a lovely place. You should visit sometime.I don't think i'm familiar with Jonesville.
Branson is very popular and the cost of living looks pretty low. I've only driven through Missouri on I-44 and I-70. Wouldn't mind checking out northern Missouri but not sure i want to be closer to tornado alley.Southern Missouri is absolutely gorgeous. I would move to SE MO to be closer to a majority of large extension of family outside of St Louis. And yes, it's south of the MD Line.

Never been to Wyoming but fell in love with Colorado. Drove out there from the East Coast in '95. I love the temp changes with elevation. So much open space. No humidity!! Absolutely gorgeous. Haha, i also check out the web cams out there too.Jackson Hole Wyoming. That’s the only place I would want to move to anywhere. Why idk just looks like a nice little town on the web cams and they get a lot of snow. Seems like a low key slow pace type of place which is perfect for me.
Got to be a millionaire , richest zip code in us. Nothing but billionaires with second homesJackson Hole Wyoming. That’s the only place I would want to move to anywhere. You stole mineMount pleasant South Carolina (Charleston) or the mountains of Virginia.
So is Carrollton! ??the Tri Cities area is beautiful
Carrollton, Texas ?So is Carrollton! ??
I'd probably like Iowa. The climate for sure with all the changes. Tornadoes sorta scare me though. I have family on the other end of the state in Council Bluffs and more in Omaha.Iowa
Lived in Summerville for a couple years in the 90s. Don't really care for that area. Climate related mostly.Mount pleasant South Carolina (Charleston) or the mountains of Virginia.
It’s pretty flat the farther you get from the Mississippi in iowa. Dubuque is cool, it’s kind of on the “North side)” of the rain snow cutoff more times than not! If it’s going to be a r/s line, it’s usually snow Nof Hwy 20. And far more wooded around here also. DBQ really looks a lot like the piedmont of NC/SC , where I spent all my years until 2020! I miss carp fishing, but that’s about it! Oh and the Fish camps in Belmont , NC! ?I'd probably like Iowa. The climate for sure with all the changes. Tornadoes sorta scare me though. Yeah, from pics of the area looks nothing like what you would expect Iowa to look like! It’s pretty flat the farther you get from the Mississippi in iowa. I would like a place just over the Tetons in Driggs. Cheaper and quiet. Still beautiful and plenty of trout. They had snow on the ground from Halloween to Easter last year.Jackson Hole Wyoming. Awesome. Know it very well. Grandparents lived in Middletown. Virginia is just so damn pretty.NoVA, Warren county area, SE of Front Royal with some elevation.
You must have some sort of family connection in Dubuque. Otherwise why would anyone move there ?It’s pretty flat the farther you get from the Mississippi in iowa.
