Prediction: RU's Mobilization fails. RU launches tactical Nuke on Kiev. US knocks out Russia's black sea fleet and hits RU with a conventional strike. RU retaliates with nukes. Us retaliates with nukes. China uses nukes. North Korea uses nukes. 5 out of 6 people on Earth die. EMP from the nuke knocks out circuits. World reverts back into a agriculture based society. Will probably take 20-50+ years to have any services restored, maybe longer if skilled tradesmen don't survive the Nukes.

Russia said on Tuesday that four Ukrainian regions whose annexation it proclaimed last month are under the protection of its nuclear arsenal.

Doesn't matter what you think or anyone else here. Emojis or name calling won't change the outcome. US stated the risk is "high". Biden also warned of armageddon, yet some people want to downplay the severity of 3,000 nuclear warheads. What's coming is inevitable broken. This isn't Iraq where they didn't have nukes and US caused a regime change. This isn't the same WWII playing field where US only had nukes. The only reason US won against Japan was the use of Nukes.

Risks of US and NATO being drawn into conflict in Ukraine are high- WH.

I'm not wish-casting, just just posting my prediction based on NATO, white houses, and defense statements. If you disagree with it, then fine. Your disagreement or my prediction won't change the outcome of this war. I'll be happy if a Nuclear attack doesn't happen, and for someone to say it would bring me delight is wrong. I was always told to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

And what comes after? Poland, the Baltics, Eastern Europe?

I appreciate politics taken elsewhere, this thread is largely for real time updates on the situation in Ukraine, geopolitical implications though is inbounds.

My concern about all this spending, as stated previously, is not the money, it's the draw down of US stockpiles which would be needed to fight a peer type engagement in the Indo-Pacific, and perhaps a WW2 type two front conflict in Eastern Europe.

Silver lining, production lines shut down prematurely will be ramping up over the next couple years.
