Putin is just trying to get anything at this point, seems like the Ukrainians are pushing them back pretty much everywhere at this point.....Russia has to heavily reinforce or fall back/get encircled.....the Russians have never controlled the countryside just the main roads and towns along them. Ukrainian forces are successfully encircling them meaning they either break out or surrender. Breaking out is tough to do, and those surrounded forces give Zelensky something to bargain with though chances are Putin does not really give a ---- about those troops.
 
I haven’t been following any sort of daily Ukraine air defense hit rate percentage, but this seems really good. I wonder if or how much they have upgraded their air defense capability.

This has been the goal all along. Unfortunately, we get sucked into the twists and turns of the propaganda machine way too much.

Whether deliberate or unintentional, these escalatory statements — particularly when combined with the U.S.’s escalatory actions — are dangerous beyond what can be described. As an Australian news outlet reported on Sunday, “Russia has launched a missile strike near Poland in what appears to be a deadly warning to the United States.” The accompanying video (see lead photo above) shows at least three long-range cruise missiles, launched from a Russian submarine in the Black Sea, precisely striking targets in western Ukraine, near to where Biden was in Poland. That missile launch, the outlet reasonably concluded, “appears to be a deadly warning to the United States.”

I'm seeing conflicting reports about the video. Ukraine's Ministry of Defense says it is staged while the Zelensky adviser says they will investigate the video.

It seems like it is staged, but it should be investigated anyway just in case.

I don't condone it if it wasn't staged. The right thing to do is to offer the Russian POWs a hot meal and a way to call home...
 
It appears twitter is blocking any information on Neo-Nazi's in zelensky's military committing war crimes. I dont think our social media is much different than Putin's or Zelensky's.

Fox had a great 1 hour documentary on who is zelinsky. Very imformative. They been at war since 2014 really. Those werent 2 breakaway territories , Russia just muscled in more an more everytime Zulinsky made concessions. He finally wisened up to puttin, realizing he wasnt gonna stop, always want more.
 
That is true. Russia had started the invasion in 2014 when they went after Crimea. It showed then that Putin does not honor agreements. Budapest Memorandum. Russia , US, and UK agreed to honor and protect Ukraine’s borders if they denuke. All three countries failed Ukraine by not protecting Ukraine borders but Russia actually decided it wanted Ukraine control to relive their so called glory days. Russia wanted all of Ukraine but with their war loses Putin might be willing to concede by taking another part of Ukraine. But Russia is going to keep taking parts of Ukraine as along as Russia has the same agenda. Killing Ukraine by slowly taking their port cities. I do not see any agreement lasting with Russia and they will keep going after Ukraine as long this Russia leadership is around. And knowing US and other countries they would immediately take down the sanctions and Russia would immediately get ready to annex or take another part of Ukraine. They might kill Zelisky to get control back.

After this invasion NO country will be willing to denuke weapons in treaties or agreements. I could see a lot more countries making nuke weapons now due to Russia. I would not be surprised if Ukraine seriously considers making and arming nukes again after this.
