Imagine being such a sore loser that you nuke the world and destroy everybody. That's like flipping the table after losing at Yahtzee
And it was the US with HC as Sec of State who sold a 1/3 of US uranium to Russia. If thats not enough we dont mind Russia enough to negotiate a mind boggeling deal with Russia being the arbitrator to pay Iran 7 Billion dollars, allow Russia to build Iran a Nuclear power plant in exchange for 4 hostages and written promise from Iran that they want enrich Uranium over the next 5 years. Plus we will purchase oil from Iran, and take them off a terroist watch list.

You would think after all these years that people would not keep posting misinformation but here we are.......this never happened not one ounce of uranium from the US ever went to Russia....not one single ounce.

“Please be assured that no Uranium One, Inc.-produced uranium has been shipped directly to Russia and the U.S. Government has not authorized any country to re-transfer U.S. uranium to Russia,” the 2015 letter said.

“That 2015 statement remains true today,” David McIntyre, a spokesman for the NRC, told us in an email.

Ill have to tap out/ technicality you win debate. Last statement by me.
Clinton Foundation collected over 750,000 from playing it on both ends. To deep to get in to, but the company at that time produced 20% of uranium in US. Through a back channel Canadian sale of company was red flag. Got 0 resistance from then current admin, she was sec of state, even prez. No doubt why all the cozy, contributions where being made to clinton foundation and what for. Clintons are like the midnight rider. Not ever gonna catch

On June 8, 2010, Uranium One announced it had signed an agreement that would give “not less than 51%” of the company to JSC Atomredmetzoloto, or ARMZ, the mining arm of Rosatom, the Russian nuclear energy agency.

At the time, Uranium One’s two licensed mining operations in Wyoming amounted to about “20 percent of the currently licensed uranium in-situ recovery production capacity in the U.S.,” according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. In-situ recovery is the extraction method currently used by 10 of the 11 licensed U.S. uranium producers.

Uranium One also has exploration projects in Arizona, Colorado and Utah.

But the deal required multiple approvals by the U.S., beginning with the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States. Under federal law, the committee reviews foreign investments that raise potential national security concerns.

The Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States

The Committee on Foreign Investments has nine members, including the secretaries of the treasury, state, defense, homeland security, commerce and energy; the attorney general; and representatives from two White House offices (the United States Trade Representative and the Office of Science and Technology Policy).

The committee can’t actually stop a sale from going through — it can only approve a sale. The president is the only one who can stop a sale, if the committee or any one member “recommends suspension or prohibition of the transaction,” according to guidelines issued by the Treasury Department in December 2008 after the department adopted its final rule a month earlier.

Ill always admit when I cant 100% prove a debate topic. But Ill never be convinced she didnt know full well what she was doing and cashed out very well with slick Willie. Whether the Russia clown ever got his uranium or not, hasnt been fully proven. Like the ole " glove doesnt fit,you must acquit"

Russia controls this Ukrainian port, so not sure what or why this is on fire, it would not seem to be a Russian attack since its their ships unloading there.....could be sabotage to prevent them from accessing the fuel there etc......

Ukrainians claiming they hit a Russia resupply ship.....Alligator class LST and that it caused a larger fire on the dock....not sure if this is rockets/ammo firing off or part of the oil tanks....hard to say. This is what the ship the Ukrainians are claiming is destroyed looks like...

Pretty nice attack by the Ukrainians....confirmed they hit and put the Russian LST Orsk out of action, if not outright sunk...

The Russians did a video on this ship at that port a few days ago...

This was before the war by the way:
"Last year, he had his main political opponent arrested, and his assets seized by the state. At the same time, Zelenskyy shut down three of Ukraine's most popular television networks, channels that coincidentally, had criticized him."
I read this about shutting down those stations.
Ukraine has shut several television channels owned by a Russia-linked magnate in what the nation's president described Wednesday as a necessary move to fight Kremlin propaganda.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said stopping the broadcasts and blocking the assets of the three channels was a “difficult” but necessary decision.

“Ukraine strongly supports freedom of speech,” Zelenskiy tweeted. “Not propaganda financed by the aggressor country that undermines Ukraine on its way to the EU and EuroAtlantic integration. Fight for independence is fight in the information war for truth and European values.”

The stations were controlled and ran by Russian aggressors so I can understand shutting them down.

I read this morning that US intel has gathered that Russia may soon abandon it's mission to move inland in Ukraine, and instead focus it's effort and resources on securing the eastern part of the nation.
They probably don't want/haven't wanted to take the whole country. The show of force there was probably to make it easier to get the eastern zones...to force Ukraine leadership to submit to that objective more quickly.

I think there was likely some intent to position themselves for a Moldova entry but the Ukrainian resistance and counter offensive have likely put that on the skids.

They're mercenaries, not servicemembers operating in any official capacity.
True, but what would happen if Russia hits that group with a chemical weapon and kills them. It’s one thing to *wink *wink “know” we have soldiers over there fighting and another to have them put Twitter videos of them helping(probably leading) a force that destroys a bunch of tanks and retaking a town.

Too much pressure from the west here may cause Putin to do something really irrational if our soldiers really start having an effect and pushing the Russians back.
