Ukraine in the dark: Sky News has a lot of good reporting on the war. The Humanitarian Crises has really shotgunned into the Nastiest of nastiest phases. Chernobyl is off the grid now. So no way to monitor Radiation.

Guess it’s a repeat of last week of fake information about a nuclear power plant about to blow up to cause panic. Apparently the IAEA says Chernobyl doesn’t need power to cool, there is no safety concerns currently. Who knows to be honest more fake information or truth?

Very well could be there is tons of misinformation out there but the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said this

If you read the article they are quoting it really paints a different picture from that tweet. That tweet is kinda click bait
Sometimes we do not see the forest due to the trees. This case, the tree was the show. In other words, the tweet's value is in the quote. That is a strong statement, worth of the notice it was given. But, I understand your point.

How long do we have if Russia launched a nuke towards US? 20 minutes?

Just curious. The other night when SOTU speech took place. Top of command all busy for 60 mins + in capital. There is a protocol, takes time to execute. Wonder how we are set up to discern, distinguish false alarm , real alarm and time it takes to execute.

For ICBMs, I think so, but if the Russians had SLBMs right off the coast that launched I would think it would be much quicker?
