They sure as hell are! This was one of our biggest fears in Ramadi 2006. This is inching closer and closer to urban warfare

I was a couple years before you, and a comm Marine operating at the staff/flag level. For our forward elements they were particularly hazardous. 1-2 guys is manageable, you throw a coordinated team behind multiple tubes it changes the calculus.
 


I’ve seen some of the small white box trucks trailing columns so this may be legit, especially as they battle self inflicted supply chain issues.

Makes me concerned of an enter Ukraine , disappear then reappear as Ukrainian and infiltrate the ranks.

Putin waging a 2nd war on his own population by heavy censoring, stopping people to check texts and essentially coming down with the heavy iron curtain again is hopefully another grave miscalculation on his part. Usually you try to rally your nation during war time not shut it down. We have to hope that even despite the continued heavy hand putin has led with that enough Russians have seen enough freedom and will try to hold on to it.

Honestly, he's tying his own noose at this point. Taking a nation with some freedoms and going full throttle toward censorship and isolation is not going to end well for him. There's no logic in telling your people that you're going to war to "denazify" and "demilitarize" Ukraine then jumping into where we are today. The Russian people are not stupid and I assure it's only a matter of time before it personally comes back to bite him hard, unless his inner-circle is really that far down into his plans that they're willing to go down with him. Putin can't answer to his people at this point without a large amount of them knowing he's gone off the deep end. What will he do then? He can't just purge or imprison his entire population who disagrees with him. There'll be a breaking point. What happens then is all speculative
 
Obviously the Russian army is in terrible condition on all levels, poor leadership, poor morale, poorly trained troops, run down equipment.....hell there only chance at winning was Ukraine seeing a bunch of tanks and quitting thats why they did what they did. Unfortunately for the Russians the Ukrainians wont having none of that ----.

Putin is running out of realistic options here other than retreating at least into Donbas and trying to make a actual defendable area with short supply lines they can protect.

This video has got me wondering just what the Ukrainians used here, if it was counter battery they were spot on lol....

 
Putin either gonna have to do something stupid. Or pull out and call it a wrap either way Russia is in no condition to drag this war out to long. Can Putin win this sure he could but he can’t do so without a bigger conflict.

This is the Russia/Ukraine war in the eyes of my 7 yr old. I don’t know what my thoughts are on this. Guess I need to watch less news.

There is no pulling out. No talks, no agreements. He is hell bent on destroying Ukraine and killing as many people as possible no matter how many Russians die in the process.

How? When he can’t even get his soldiers the supplies they need for a long war. Food fuel ammo supplies are looking bleak. Meanwhile Ukraine is being supplied by multiple countries.

Russian knowing that they were going to war surely they would have stockpiled ammo, weapons, food and medical supplies. Are they having problems getting the supplies through to the frontlines? Or did they think Ukraine would give up quickly when the Russian forces rolled in thus not stockpiling supplies?
