I was wondering if all the talk of heavy fighting was false when i saw this morning Zelensky was claiming 137 dead. 36 hours of heavy fighting with modern weapons would result in alot more than 137 dead.

I would take everything you hear with a grain of salt. It's war and misinformation is always a huge part of it especially in the initial days. Russia will get to any city they desire with the force they have and time but it's gonna come with a cost. The people of Ukraine will fight until the last drop of blood and it's a large country.....The longer they hold on the more apt the European nations are to assist in what ways they have the means to. It's good to see the Russian people angry at what Putin has done and plans to do

It's almost as if they are trying to invoke NATO article 5 themselves.
Italy and Hungary are still apparently showing resistance, though.
The possibility of Russian overreach that that potentially could involve nato countries, weather intentional or not, is, is very real and a little scary

These are some of the most developed countries in the world based on HDI, quality of life, etc. I see atleast Sweden joining sooner rather than later, not much Russia can do to stop them.
