Folks, time to get real here. Russia controls what they want to control. All you have to do is look at the official maps of this mess produced. Russia controls the East, So. East and Southern Coast of Ukraine all the way over to Odessa. More importantly they control the bio labs our government was financing. Russia controls what they want to control. Ukraine is not winning here.

We're 2 months into an invasion that Ukraine was highly outgunned for. Russia has not only lost nearly 20,000 men, 200 planes, 1,000 tanks and a flagship, but they've actually lost ground they initially took around Kyiv.

The area you are talking about was largely a separatist region anyway.

Russia is absolutely losing this war, by any metric. When you compare the perceived military might, to the amount of money and manpower they're throwing at and losing in Ukraine, while taking in consideration the amount of global blowback that will set Russia back for decades, all for a decimated sliver of land that was considered pro-Russian anyways, there is no way this can be considered a Russian victory. They would need all of Ukraine to fix the perception of this clusterf@*$.

Look I want Russia to get thumped as much as the next person here. That being said Russia is playing Nato and the US for fools. They are winning and if you believe differently you have your head in the sand. They have what they want.

No they are not winning. What do they have control of that can't be taken back? This is going to be a long, drawn out proxy war that in the end just cost a lot of innocent lives

You are missing the point. They absolutely know they are in a proxy war with us and NATO. They want to draw us into a direct conflict. They want a counter attack. In that counter attack we will be drawn in. That is what they want. They want the destruction of the US. They are wining.

Seriously this is just all wrong, Putin and Russia are getting handled with a lot of help from the West....this post reads like the Putin apologist post you see all over twitter. Its so factually incorrect its ridiculous....Russia does not even remotely control the coast all the way to Odessa, just ask the Moskova.....their army was held at Kherson and there are no Russia army troops within 100 miles of Odessa...the Russian army has been exposed as a huge piece of crap, hell the Ukrainians are pushing them back in the east where you think "Russia controls what Russia wants to control" lol....

I don't disagree with you on that. They absolutely want to draw us in. That doesn't equate to winning anything. In fact they are losing rather badly on all fronts in my expert opinion

Russia is not winning but we did a very poor job leading up to this conflict. Won't elaborate any further as this is not the political forum
 
Something is going on inside Russia, numerous munitions, oil storage, and other similar type sites many thousands of miles from Ukraine are going up in flames. Could be that there is a lot of disgruntled troops not wanting to go die in Putin's little special operation....hard to say.

If true, that surgeon might end the war, but I’m sure he will be watched the whole time and that risk is well mitigated by Putin due to the obvious.

Russia is literally drowning under sanctions, so much so that China is actively taking actions to keep themselves from falling into the same hole. Russia IS NOT winning this war, by any metric. They're losing ground, men, money, equipment, their global status, and for what? A blown to hell region, that already considered themselves Russian separatists anyway? Get real.

So they're winning for wanting the US and NATO to join a war that the US and NATO has in fact not joined? I have to admit, that is some interesting logic.
