Quiet a large area for possible landfall locations. Obviously if it hugs the east side of the cone through Mississippi some of us could see rain on the right quad.

Please don't look at the NAM 3km. It's completely lost it's mind.
GFS (and legacy) really burry the western Carolinas and north Georgia.
I typically don’t look at a mesoscale model for a tropical system.
I almost never look at the NAM for a tropical system.

Just your everyday 175 mb pressure drop in 60 hours. Getting awfully close to the RI threshold.
NAM is seriously drunk right now lol.
This NAM is seriously drunk even for the normally seriously drunk NAM
970mb is doable given available guidance, duration over water and proximity to land. Anything can happen in the gulf but that’s what I expect now for max strength.

I got duped on the 3km before looking at a severe setup in 2017 and the Nam deepened the low at an alarming rate, it’s not the worst model but when it’s wacky it’s wacky.
