Pattern Sweatember

This is just beyond insane at this point. We're already into the worst summers on record as it is. I've been warning people this may be a trend even into the colder months to just be warm 😩 I'm tired of people talking about this is normal. It's not

I saw the forecast from 25 years ago and yeah it was 80s for highs all week

That's a tough deal man - not sure how the fauna & flora survives and agriculture interests are in the tank looks like.

Looks like a snow map! 👀🫪IMG_6499.jpeg

Looks like sept will easily finish below 2 inches and most likely 1. That'll be 11 months of less than 2 and 3 of less than 1. Total rain for the 13 months since 9/1/25 31 inches give or take a little, 1/3rd of that came in July 1/2 fell in May and July combined. Rough times

Well, we did it, we broke the record. Today is the 39th consecutive day with a high temp of 90+ for Chattanooga. The last time we didn't reach 90 was on August 3rd lol. The old record of 38 days was set in 1993. Looks like we probably won't hit 90 tomorrow due to high probability of clouds/showers but if that setup falls apart, we could easily make a run at 45 days.
Lol, Chattanooga only recorded a trace of rain today and made it up to 90....again. 40th day in a row. And nothing but straight 90s for the next 7 days in the forecast. o_O

Ugly trend again.

Reminds me so much of Fall of 2018. That Fall we failed to get any real significant cold front until about mid October (it came & pushed Hurricane Michael out). That Fall is overlooked a lot by 2019 because of the heat wave in early October that year but 2018 we wasted a massive chunk of Fall. ecmwf-ensemble-avg-conus-t2m_f_dprog-1789257600-1789970400-1790510400-20.gif

Yeah I saw a big post here from somebody talking about below average temperatures.... Like I know 80s will be better than 100s but that is not even remotely below average by late September sorry and it's getting very old

The goalposts keep getting moved and this is why I've been so pessimistic about winter because well before you know it's gonna be winter

Good.

This is a minor win with Wednesday:

Wednesday Night
Clear, with a low around 63.

But yeah, what's being projected on Wunderground in particular is fine, but it's just not what I'd prefer.
