Pattern Sweatember

The Mighty CFS has it Bone dry from I40 south from Arizona to the Carolina Coast the next 30 days. A paltry 1-2 inch max if your lucky. As suspected , BN Precip will be the theme through Fall/early winter. Fits the Background state of the pattern being forecasted.

What a bust even at 6/12 hrs by some model. Thankfully this wasn't a snow event
.3 in last 31 days and I got put under a FW for overnight showers totally .45. Gonna be fun tracking winter events this year

More Sweatember after this weekend here! Can’t shake the 80s
I believe the longer the heat hangs on , the better winter we will have! As the cold air builds and nights get longer, it’ll come! ⛄

Other than a brief warmup this weekend with highs approaching 90 tomorrow and Saturday, the weather pattern is about as normal as normal can be climatologically speaking for KRDU with little chance of precipitation. Watching weather like this is akin to pressing a snooze button on your alarm to get more sleep. At least it feels better outside than a late summer heatwave.

Yeah, with the alternative usually including actual “sweatember” sultry conditions, I’ll happy with this San Diegoish alternative and consider it a pretty rare gift.
