Very true, as well as increased air traffic at the airport over the past several years. All combine for warmer readings

Yep. I have always suspected the river and interstate to not allow the heavier, dense cold air to settle around the airport. Add to that what is likely triple the air traffic over the last decade.

It’s mid September and we are chasing PV splits already??? This winter will be amazeballs! ???
I think it’s more of a possible indication of maybe an early shot of winter type cold for parts of the US since it’s happening earlier than it did last year at least.. still far out though

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM PDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY...

At 339 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near downtown San
Diego, moving west at about 15 mph. So far heavy rainfall and
localized flooding has been reported.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Chula Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, El Cajon, Vista, Encinitas,
National City, La Mesa, Poway and Imperial Beach.
