At least it does it all at once, getting it over with, as opposed to backing off little by little aka death by 1000 cuts.
In all seriousness, I got fortunate with rain last couple days and due to that we had some thick fog last night. In fact, had a dense fog advisory for portion of the night, which slowed temp fall but I'm sure DD still won't understand.

Central NC in more drought than any part of western NC right now

That’s quite the humid airmass on the GFS past day 6ish, bet the GFS is over mixing
So close to some severe wx with this

Just showing one of the crazy solutions that could come about with that recurving typhoon probably won’t but we could start seeing more crazy and elongated troughs
