Pattern Swamptember 2021

Yep was just about to post … theres goes out pesky drought … now we flood

Why I don't say anything about a little drought here. We are more likely to have a flood cause more damage and problems than a drought.
 
Thunder can be hard to hear when it's raining at 2"+ per hour.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern
Harnett, southern Wake and northwestern Johnston Counties through 115
PM EDT...

At 1220 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fuquay-Varina, or 10 miles south of Cary, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Cary, Smithfield, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, Angier,
Apex, Holly Springs and Knightdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
 
We will enjoy the next 6 or so days with lower dew points at least and I doubt we get too hot even with this look maybe some low 90s but I doubt we see anymore mid to upper 90s for the rest of the season .. but simply just my opinion it looks hot for some days but bearable
Wont be bearable for me unless we get some much needed rain. But yeah, I can handle low 90s with the dewpoint out of the 70s.
