Why does everything keep sliding around?
Sounds like you need to listen to soul train from ybn nahmir, that song seems to fit youWhy does everything keep sliding around?![]()
They start getting a little more wedge this time of year and a little less storm activity.I’ll take those daily thunderstorm chances again!
This will end up low 90s but still sucks for sureFor September standards that’s pretty impressive View attachment 90340View attachment 90341
At least it's showing dews in the 50s for much of North GA.This will end up low 90s but still sucks for sure
It will end low 90s on the high end. Last week at this time both the GFS and the EURO wanted to put us in the mid 90s for the middle of this week and a couple days ago they wanted mid 90s for this coming weekend. The warmest we look to get now is around 90 Sunday and that’s after a cool off for a couple days after a front. I’ll believe these high end temps when they actually started showing only 72 hours outThis will end up low 90s but still sucks for sure
Yeah last two days of august were pretty bad but since then .. completely doable .. we will see if those temps make it this time like you I am a bit skeptical but others in here seem to make some good points about the potential so we will watch itIt will end low 90s on the high end. Oh I’m not saying that we’re not going to be a few degrees above average. I just don’t see anything to lead me to believe that we see 95-100Yeah last two days of august were pretty bad but since then .. completely doable .. we will see if those temps make it this time like you I am a bit skeptical but others in here seem to make some good points about the potential so we will watch it
To be fair we trended away from hotter temps as a result of H5/H85 changes the last week for this weekIt will end low 90s on the high end. I am also if it brings us some severe weather to go with it …I’m ready for some Fall cold front action.

Sure does the most fun part will be the fact we are likely to have a similar progression at some point this winter. I hate to beat a point to death but if you are looking for high end cold with high end snow potential la nina has a better chance at providing it than a nino. The problem is when a nina misses you are far more likely to end up cold/dry wet/warm than a nino where you can get a consolation prize mixed event
No different than in March and April when we have cold snaps. Just take a month or so to get everything realigned.GFS grew more impressive with the ridge next week, and has 850s at 20C+ the middle of next week View attachment 90357View attachment 90358View attachment 90359
Yep, gonna love the extended pool time.No different than in March and April when we have cold snaps. Just take a month or so to get everything realigned.
My company cut my traveling off again for covid, so I'm staying in Charleston for the past three weeks and I'll stay here indefinitely... I welcome the extended pool time as long as possible.Yep, gonna love the extended pool time.
HRRR even laying out potential for nighttime storms tomorrow night tooLooking like some great thunderstorm coverage tomorrow from Charlotte through Raleigh basically central NC and east
Dang I feel like we’re tracking something in winter with that look I can hear us saying now “that vort max need to slide a bit further west and south and it’s go time”View attachment 90367
I find this trend acceptable
Someone north of Atlanta is fixing to get a lot of rain tonight. Looks like these storms are hardly moving.View attachment 90370
