Misc Stock Market

Closed my Q's short for net nothing. Makes me nervous with the VIX this high...would prefer it in the mid 20's not $34.

It feels like longs don't want to be long and shorts don't want to be short. ?‍♂️

Our economy is in a precarious situation.
 
I have asked the question many times to my self past 2 years...but whats the catalyst for equities to move higher....I guess if Powell says QE stays on and no rate hikes for a few months. I guess if Russia/Ukraine cease fire and come to an agreement.

If futures do pump during SOTU, it won't be relevant in 12 hours without bonds calming down and oil at least calming down (if not going down).

Like I don't care about what bonds do unless they're acting wonky, and they've acted wonky so far this week.

It'll be interesting to see if it just turns around on its own (as it's pretty overbought) or if not, if whether Powell chooses to try to do anything about it with his mouth or passes.

IMo futures don't mean anything unless you trade them . The last two weeks proves it

At this point I don’t know if SPY will be $420 or $440 tomorrow. Probably touches both levels…
