Presuming this is true, I'm not sure that New Orleans is going to be safe for a while...




That said, still don't see anything on the possibility of moving the game. Probably just beef up security and try tomorrow.
 
These football playoffs have sucked so bad. The entire committee should be fired. Arizona State and Boise St are both mediocre teams at best and somehow got a bye.

They should just go back to the top 4 teams.

This didn’t age well. ASU finally decided to throw the ball and Texas is imploding.
 
Honestly, Texas has been dominated everywhere except the box score here (and the fact that ASU can't kick FGs is a significant problem for them). Surprising after the start.

This is embarrassing for the SEC, ha, and I'm not sure Georgia makes it much better. Think Georgia can win, but even if so, it'll be close and ugly.
 
Texas reeeaaallllyyyyyy didn't deserve to win this game.

They have something so far for 2024 outside of against the Dawgs, but my guess is they run out of luck against Oregon/Ohio State next week.
 
LMFAO if Ohio State is continuing to make these pass completions, you may as well hand them the National Title trophy.

They won it all when you had the switch to the BCS...the 4 team playoff...12 team playoff...now ????

It looks like 20 million is going to buy you a national title after all in the end.

There was some skepticism, but it's looking likely with the way Ohio State has been playing.

Ohio State should send Michigan thank you cards.



I don't get any Dawg confidence here, and yet I get pushback elsewhere for being a Debbie Downer. Kirby's best team barely survived against Ohio State.

Thing is, Oregon was #1 in NIL spending. Ohio State was 3.

I guess I won't be looking at any college football boards then. Most Ohio State football fans are awful. I would not want to coach them either for that reason. Their coach wins plenty of games but is on the hot seat because of one game. Some of them want the coach gone this year even if he wins the playoffs.
 
If they drop the conf champs auto first round byes, I’ll be super interested to see if lower seeds keep winning.

Indeed. Gonna need all them transfer and young WRs to ramp it up a bit if we wanna keep up with what I assume will be a regressed defense
 
Over 90% the past champions, would have never been champs,had you had a playoff format decades ago. Football is game of emotion an momentum. Glad top 5 seeds are gone now. Proves the point, how should have been all along. Just like march madness tourney. Ought to have 16 team playoff, top 8 get bye. Just have 8 region oriented leagues.
 
Georgia escaped many times this year, tried telling people this wasn’t the Georgia of 2-3 yrs ago. NIL has evened the playing field.
