Yeah the HRRR is still showing UH with those elevated thunderstorms, if you can get a nice tall updraft you might get frozen stuff that way, lol

I gotta say that supercell is in a pretty favorable envirmoent and heading for a pretty populated city. Big oof.

185 mph gate to gate shear. Likely a strong or violent tornado hit damascus. Don't see much info coming out but it looks like debris was lofted pretty high in the supercell

Probably just saw an EF 2 or EF 3 in southern GA
Lol it’s kind of funny for eastern NC and SC it’s debunked but in western Virginia and western NC it holds true an even colder rain come verification rip
Wow this severe threat really ramped up fast .. I pray to the lord we get frozen stuff out of those cells ... I’ll take that for our King Kong contribution
I will also take loud and deep rolling thunder from inversion

We have had a lot of lightning here from that cluster of storms and very heavy rain. Cluster headed toward the west side if the Charlotte metro.
We’ve got action boys

I remember with some of our old good snowstorms, LA, MS, and AL got the lightning and we got the moisture starved convection and snow. Now it’s reversed. We are living in the upside down Larry.
