Any watch is dangerous let's not downplay a regular severe thunderstorm watch or tornado watchI have a feeling there is going to be a PDS watch today.

NoIs it a PDS?
should be good nowDoesn't seem to be working.
Unfortunately, that's not happening todayThis is a time when I hope the wedge does build into Atlanta. I like normal thunderstorms, but these are going to be too strong today. I can already tell that.
Thanks manshould be good now

1st tornado warning going off in GA
You really should not be posting comments like this. There has been no risk eliminated with the morning storms. If anything the risk has increased. Please leave such comments and ideas to the pros and experienced people on the board.Absolutely. They are stretching all the way back to south central MS with no end in sight. This could eliminate the risk entirely if the warm front doesn't left northward sometime soon.
wow...looks like it's tightening up pretty fastGeorgia tornado warning![]()

Becoming really concerned for MBY in the predawn to morning commute hours. NAM soundings are pretty scary even the less enthusiastic GFS soundings show a tornado threat...crap
Yeah its pretty much looking like a statewide threat at this point, I think the relative highest threat will be along and south of 64RDU as well?

looks like the latest SPC outlook keeps things as moderate risk
Still have the afternoon storms along the front . That's y'alls best chance later todayOvercast skies in HSV. Does it look to anyone else like those storms are going to miss or just graze the TN Valley? Seems they are booking east too fast to actually make it here.
Agree with their call. Zero reason to go high risk and no basis with the model madness.looks like the latest SPC outlook keeps things as moderate risk
Yeah, for sure. But if the warm front carrying those storms doesn't make it here - what does that do to the atmosphere stability?Still have the afternoon storms along the front . That's y'alls best chance later today
Thats very possible even then though we would run the risk of the QLCS spinups. My concern is the fact that the models are slowing the progression of the front which is allowing us to become more and more unstable.RAH saying it might go linear.

Day 1 moved the moderate risk ever so slightly east in northern Alabama
