We had plenty of record highs set on Thursday across Central Alabama with the unseasonable warmth that we had throughout the week. Here is the list of the new records set on Thursday:


Birmingham… 79 degrees (breaking previous record of 76 degrees set back in 1999)
Anniston… 80 degrees (breaking previous record of 78 degrees set back in 1957)
Tuscaloosa… 82 degrees (breaking previous record of 79 degrees set back in 1999)
Montgomery… 81 degrees (ties previous record set back in 1957)
Huntsville… 78 degrees (breaking previous record of 73 degrees set back in 1999)
Muscle Shoals… 79 degrees (breaking previous record of 74 degrees set back in 1921)
