You think while Trump was president you had legal workers at dairies lol....illegals working at dairies did not raise the price of milk...

having no one to milk cows will reduce supply thus increasing demand leading to higher milk prices....its pretty simple.

Not in all industries. My old job went from $21 an hour to $24 an hour in the last year.

Oh you really are misguided are you not. You do understand that that COVID policies extended during WOATs administration continued supply chain issues thus increasing operating expenses. Also we have Ukraine. The war in Ukraine has affected global food supply contributing to increased operating expenses. Because of these two factors, milk producers have continues to increase prices all while incorporating cheaper illegal labor putting hard working Americans out of work. So it is not all cheap illegal labor you and Shag like to say getting rid of will increase price. There are other factors at play that the administration you support have continued that have a larger impact here. Your dog won't hunt. Get a new dog.

Before Chuck Ripp’s farm started to grow, he and his brothers hired local high school students to help on the farm. But they never lasted. Now, 11 of the 12 non-family members who work there are Latino immigrants.

“We cannot find the American person to come in and work full-time on a dairy,” Ripp said. “It’s too many long hours. It’s too hard of work. And it’s seven days a week, 365 on a dairy farm... A cow does not take a day off.”

“We’ve run ads in the papers, looking for milking technicians or people to help milk cows and things like that,” he went on. “We don’t even get a bite. We don’t even get calls.”

Once again, there are more factors in play here than what you outline. THEY ARE ILLEGAL AND SHOULD NOT BE HERE ILLEGALLY. There are legal ways to bring in this labor and I have outlined those many times on the many iterations of this forum.

That doesn’t play into the liberal agenda! Let all in, no taxes paid and they are fine with that. Everyone else can pick up the tab to still pay $4 a gallon on milk!

No the US has a piss poor work visa program that needs to be reworked, its slow and not adequate to meet the needs of employers in the US...the border bill that Trump had killed addressed that issue...

Look I am all for getting as many illegals verified and legal as possible, but not at the expense of crippling some of our industries. Being here illegally is not some horrible crime, again its literally a misdemeanor. We need to invest money in a system to quickly and fairly process guest workers into this country not build walls and spend billions deporting millions of people only to cripple key US industries.

All that is easy to say from your soap box. What you refuse to see is that it isn't very smart to let these people in unvetted and then say "oh we now need to build a better system around them now that they are here". You have no clue the damage this has caused our country because you have your head stuck up your ass so far you can't see daylight. Pretend you are a mayor for a minute. I dump tens of thousands of people who you have no clue where they came from or who they are, how would you respond to that? Would you be happy with joy? You have to provide services for these people and utilities and schooling not to mention the added load on your police force or EMS or any other service you may provide but you don't think of that stuff because you seem to think you solve these problems with a quick wave of a wand. It's all good though because it's about to be fixed much to your dismay. I suggest you buy a couple cows between you and shaggy so you can milk

No, they are here illegally. They go home period and try to come in legally. I am all for invesing money into a better process in parrallel but they go home.

It should go without saying that that was wrong everybody knows that that's wrong except for you guys who listen to Trump threaten to withhold aid from Blue States and celebrate it so no one really cares what your opinion is on what happened with FEMA
