We all had a gut feeling something was up we just couldn’t put our finger on it.
Welp. It doesn't seem so crazy about their refusal to move the cone/impacts now either. Everyone said it was a conspiracy theory.

But the whole damn time they wanted to keep ATL the focus.

Kind of freaking funny isn't it

Trump literally creating a government position just to give his friends kickbacks lol. And I bet Elon was dying laughing when he explained the "doge" joke to Trump lol.

At this point I'm pretty much in joker mode and I'm just gonna laugh at the clown gathering the U.S government is gonna be starting next year. Since being upset is useless at this point
Just an FYI, being in clown mode is just as useless. You might as well be complaining to a brick wall

Here are 2 Republicans who will most likely vote with the Democrats. Probably enough to block much of what Trump wants to do.
You do understand how executive orders work? Tune in to January 21 and you will see how taking out the garbage works. To the victors go the spoils

Not to be that guy but do you really think a state like Mississippi or Alabama, or other states struggling with poverty will really do any better than the federal government will? All getting rid of the DoE will do is allow states to discriminate against certain groups, screw over the disabled, and pretty much end things like pell grants that help kids access college.

The right needs to get over their fear of the federal government
Remind me again how much debt that federal government owes?

Meh, Covid skewed the numbers. Run the numbers before Covid shut everything down from 2017-Early 2020.

On top of that, the numbers get skewed because many blue states (particularly California, New Jersey, New York) kept things shuttered in their states respectively..
So trump gets excused for covid yet Biden dealing with both the worst periods of the virus and the aftermath and you hold his feet to the fire.

Lacks intellectual honesty to make that argument

So now you are at least admitting the economy sucked under Biden

That's not what I said the economy unemployment stock market all of those things are crushing it under biting better than numbers and we're under Trump however inflation has been high because of covid

All dismantling the DoE and removing federal involvement in education will do is widen the education gap between the rich states and poor states. States like California will just continue to do well while most of the south will be screwed. Not to mention that disabled kids will be the most affected.

But then again, caring about poor people and disabled people is woke BS.
Let’s look at this from a world perspective shall we. I saw a report and I think it was posted on here by someone that prior to the DoE we were ranked in the top 5 in education in the world. Now we are in the mid to high twenties in education as far as education rank. So given that not sure the DoE has done its job well.

We went from numero Uno in 1979 to 24th now. You are correct.

Newt Gingrich is a co-contributor on Fox and a great Speaker of the House. What's your point, aside from the fact that the phrasing of the tweet sounds like a clever gotcha?
Right, he's not just a co-host of a news show. Typical click bait

Chuck Shumer: "...a word of caution to GOP, do not misread the will of the people" and speaks about needing bipartisanship. What a joke haha. These people still think they're the smart ones and we're idiots, the hypocrisy is comical

You probably thought the same in his first term until he fired them all.
First term, he had a lot of uniparty neocons blocking/hindering his presidency and/or just not up to the tasks/standards.

Biden’s administration are full of lackeys that can't do one job (Mayorkas, Garland, etc.) and are somehow still employed for now.

Funny coming from a guy that proudly captioned his frozen burgers with cheese on top on a grill. Schumer needs to go learn some basic burger skills before talking about will of the people stuff

Genuine question, if the government spends too much? Why don't we just cut down on the military budget just a tiny bit instead of dismantling entire departments? We already have the largest military in the world, we are unlikely to ever see a conflict reach our shores, why do we need a nearly trillion dollar defense budget?

I don't think anyone here disagrees with that.

As a follow-up question to you, why did the Democrats fail to reduce military spending the past 4 years?

And don't come back with *rUsSiA* or *PuTiN* or *aLLiEs*, because that will prove your question wasn't actually genuine...

We'll wait...

A learning opportunity for you.

Pell Grants predate the DOE and exists because of the 1965 Higher Education Act (thanks again, LBJ!). So no, ending the DOE will not "pretty much ended things like pell grants."

As far as the other stuff, that can all be enforced via. the Civil Rights Act (if only Biden was half the president LBJ was, am I right!?) and Americans With Disabilities Act.

The main concerns with the DOE are not the concerns you raise, but the fact that it will make it difficult for the FED to enforce a unified curriculum across the country as well as research/collect data on students. And I am against dismantling the DOE, for the record.

Glad the 4 star general is gone

These people are insane, so her brothers served and this makes her more qualified to serve on the military personnel panel. Pete himself actually served. They just don't get it and continue to post headlines and one liners catering to low information electorate.... except they've already lost 😂

Too many on the left just put out headlines and even more don't do the research so they just believe the rhetoric. If the vast majority of the younger generation really did their due diligence, they'd see there wasn't as much to fear with cutting the DOE or other Fed departments as far as that goes

And I don't even support dismantling the DOE (albeit for different reasons).

But yeah, all of the disinformation that's being spread about it, thanks to Neoliberal.propaganda, is also too much.

It still wouldn't change the fact that the already wide education gap between states will widen to the point where the deep south will pretty much be a frickin' third world country compared to states such as California

Also the lack in federal oversight will allow for discrimination against certain sects of people but I imagine a lot of the people here wouldn't care about that stuff. Also the DoE is legit apparently only 3% of the budget, so it wouldn't even lower taxes that much if at all.

Seems you either accidentally overlooked or intentionally ignored the edit to my earlier post, but I'll re-post it once more so that others don't fall for your continued disinformation...
