The policies they are pursuing will increase inequality more than it is …. Less people food secure , less people going to college, poorer performing schools. What’s really interesting to see is if you extrapolate the impact of these policies 10 years down the road. Do kids in NC and Alabama have significantly less mastery of math/reading compared to a kid from Minnesota ? They already do but when you allow states to do whatever some will gut their education…

Jeffries may be just 1 seat away from the majority when all the votes are counted. 1 rep croaks and Trump and the party get squat done after a huge victory. We have to ask, Does trump the ignorant idiot want Jeffries as speaker? Someone with common sense best talk him out of Stefanik and Waltz

There will be special elections, but the Democrats will put everything they have into winning them and may just do it. Then things could get interesting.

Its as if he is so incredibly stupid he has no idea what he has done. Johnson will get nothing passed with it 218-217 and effectively Jeffries is already speaker. 1 rep croaks and Trump can spend 4 years golfing. If he has a brain left he will tell stefanik and waltz to stay in the house. I was right about him. He is a dumbass fool and he is taking a dump on everyone that voted for him. Without the house he is a nothing.

They will out spend reps 10-1 and the party in power almost always loses special elections. They have a chance in FLA due to DeSantis, but we can kiss the NY seat bye bye

Its not safe. Its in NY where reps just got their asses kicked and lost 3 seats. Dems will outspend reps 10-1

Positive? Its likely to be 220-215 but then take 2 seats away and its 218-215. We all know there will be a few reps who will vote with dems so Jeffries is in effect already the Speaker. Ron DeSantis knows th value of controlling the legislature. Who in the effing hell is telling trump to be this dumbass stupid?

That doesn't answr either of my questions, but it's ok.

1. If the Department of Education were eliminated, it would just be folded back into the Department of Health & Huaman Services as it were before Jimmy Carter. Even so, it was the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (thanks to LBJ, an extremely underrated president) that establishes the means to fund schools, which predates the DOE.

2. The correct answer is anywhere from 5% to 16% of school funding (depending on the state) comes from the federal government. A significant amount for sure, but not as dire as you were making it out to be.
 
He is going to take Marco Rubio out of the Senate now. This is getting interesting now, with all kinds of possibilities opening up.

Except it is true, this is not race baiting.. why would he select an actual outspoken white nationalist to serve in his administration? You have a couple options here as this is irrefutable.

a) Say this is irrelevant, his views suck but does not matter... which is already a dumb position because he has power and will use it to advance his racist views... your granddaddy said the same thing about de-segregationists " stop it yall are race baiting and disturbing the peace"
b) Say this is fine, white nationalism is ok

Either way, speak the truth and only the truth, I will respect only the truth but I do not respect thinly veiled racism and lies... own it if you are a white nationalist. I hate the view but can respect someone for being honest...
 
I'm just glad South Africa has some Skin in the game too. Hopefully Elon can halt the reverse discrimination in South Africa right now. Trump owes him.
