It's turned into a methhead poophole state. Why wouldn't it be deeply red?
Not only is it deeply red, but Trump still overperformed polling (some would say significantly).
Not a great sign for Harris if that trend continues in other states.

wouldn’t a state with so many big cities like Florida be more democrat ? You’ve got Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa.

But trumps underperfoming in Georgia by 2 to 3% In counties that Harris is overperforming by 4 to 6% over Biden. So that's a 6 to 9% swing

Lot of Cubans, Venezuelans, Colombians etc in S. Florida that don't want to return to the type of governments they fled from.
Gotta remember, Florida is known as heaven's waiting room.
That, and the Cuban popultion is heavily conservative after being traumatized by Castro.

Nah flordia has been shifting red for many years now. Even Miami Dade is no surprise. Desantis won there last time by like 10%

It was a swing state until just 4 years ago. DeSantis won by about .2% in 2018. He turned it dark red. Huge victory tonight for DeSantis on the 2 amendments. He fought the fight alone.
This is 100% true, and I know this from spending a lot of time there recently. I’ve also recently worked with someone who fled South Africa, and he says some of the things happening here now are very reminiscent of what happened down there a few decades ago.

One of the more interesting things I've heard tonight is the migration of red voters from the midwest to Florida. So Florida gets redder and redder and the midwest turns slightly bluer. I don't think you will see this in action in the midwest for another 8-12 years though.

Which counties? I see a few both ways but want to keep any I’m missing to watch. Seems like give and take across the state from 2020. Trump way off Kemps numbers but no one expected him to keep up with that
