It's best that Trump makes it seem like people have a choice to keep morale up while the transition of excellence occurs.

No, he can appt someone to fill out Rubio's term but not House members. They have to have a special election. Gaetz seat is vacant until an election is held.

Gaetz is a staunch Trump supporter, part of the Freedom Caucus. Trump is getting Gaetz thru one way or another. Doing some research, Gaetz is Uber smart and understands policy and coming up with good policy.
John Fetterman talked about Trumps cabinet picks stating he feels Trumps picks are a God Tier level of trolling against the liberals in a nutshell.
As for the sexual harassment claims... it seems like it's been 4 years since that came about and nothing came of it... so I'm going to chalk that up as another unfounded witch hunt ...
We'll see how it goes, but Trump is playing some 4D chess here...

Gaetz is trying to duck the investigation releasing damning info....remember there was only one single vote against the Human Sex Trafficking Bill and it was him, numerous fellow REPUBLICANS have said he bragged about sex with underage girls and using illegal drugs etc. Gaetz belongs in prison not running the DOJ, only in maga world is this kind of nonsense possible.

Reason 2. We need an AG who wont mind getting bloody. You have wartime Generals and peacetime Generals. Gaetz is a wartime General, AG that will buzzsaw in an clean the sewer out. 2 years Trump AG will need a peacetime General ( fyi Desantis will be unemployed in 2 years), maybe he keeps Gaetz on, who knows. But Gaetz is perfect pick for AG.
