No way. If they do that they may as well cut them out. Give them a 10-15% increase while cutting off funding Ukraine. The Russians are going to win there, unless we join in with troops on the ground. Everything we send there is wasted.

And there you are. Im fine with cutting off Ukraine and cutting the military budget by 10% but as long as some programs are off limits, they will all be off limits.

Gonna have to stop you there. Winning the popular vote by a republican hadn't happened since 2004. Most of the Harris votes came from highly populated democrat strongholds. It was a landslide victory for Trump, as in terms of spatial area, it was overwhelmingly red.

Of course, the Democrats are trying to introduce bills to eliminate the Electoral College again ... The founding fathers were smart to have this balance in check so highly dense population centers that cover 10% or less of the US can't dictate what the rest of the 90% want or voted for.

Absolutely not. The constitution gives us the right to protest as long as it is peaceful. I do not think marching is illegal if you get the permits to do it and it stays peaceful. It would only hurt the cause if the people got violent. The stuff that went on Minnesota in 2020 and in Ferguson Missouri was 100 the wrong way to do it. MLK kept his protests peaceful and found some success for his people. He was 100% against violence.

It is, but we need to get something passed. A govt shutdown would not be good. I'm just hoping they can come up with something long term before the Debt Ceiling comes up in June. A default world be a disaster for the entire world, not just the US. No one knows how this would play out since it has not happened to us before.

It is a fact though that the stock market dropped 1100 points. It will keep doing down if the Govt shuts down and will absolutely plummet if we default on the debt.

it looks like congress will wait until Trump assumes office and The GOP leaders of the Senate and House will pass a new slimmer bill. It will be well before the government defaults. Don't fall for the boogiemen.
 
Remember when Trump was president the first time and the GOP raised the debt ceiling 3 times without any demands on cutting spending and with tons of pork on the bills...they need to STFU.
