NWS says enough of a south-East wind to limit snow/sleet to 1-2 hours of it. Winter Storm Warning criteria possible for north-western Wilkes County to Poor Mountain, VA.

31.8/30.0 been holding steady since midnight. About a tenth of ice nothing major .
Just woke up, thought it was all rain, but the tops of trees look a little shiny from what I can tell, that happened with a setup last winter, interesting, other than that it’s 33 and rain
Just rode around the block everythings coated be nice to look at first light. I enjoy events like these dont have to worry about the power and looks nice like a winter wonderland lol

Highest report I've seen thus far this morning was in southern Burke county around 0.1" of ice.
Anyone remember what the forecasted low for Atlanta was suppose to be? I'm sitting at 34 and rain I know it was never an event for us but I was pretty sure I heard lows were only suppose to be in the 40s, not the 30s!

32.5 now. Was at 31.1 at 6:00. No ice but a nice steady, cold rain. If we had any earlier this morning I didn't see it.
I believe the pinging of sleet on my windows woke me up this morning.
I got about .01 maybe close to .15 good call map for sure.

Roads and bridges are in good shape I just rode into marion ice on elevated surfaces. I got .54 of rain if it weren't for the temp staying at 31.8 for the majority of the event it cud have been worse.
