Not for everyone, disabilities?
There is curbside voting where you can essentially vote from your car. And I was mainly referring to there being no need to send a ballot by mail to everyone. I know there’s always a need to send ballots to those in the military, those who are home bound, or those who are overseas for a period of time, I’m not talking about those, I was referring the sweeping thought of the need to send everyone a ballot by mail because it’s not safe to go to a polling place.

I will say this. I have a fairly equal amount of disdain for both sides with the exception of trump. If the voter turnout is motivated by the protests and we get a 60+% turnout it will be historic and we will see the will of the people. If we don't ,then the losing side has only themselves to blame.
What ever happens, let's not lose sight of the fact that his is our home and without compromise we can't live together. Because of mistakes and poor listening skills on both sides, our country is out of control right now.

NC Gov Cooper’s ratings are likely to tank going into July after what I’m seeing with the local race track drama. The only thing that could possibly save his srry ass is a 2.5 phase this Friday to reopen more things. I’m surprised he his putting his career down the drain last minute before the election. YES!!!

Yes because once again wilkes is the center of the universe.

Nobody in my area has heard about it and nobody cares but wilkes folks

Yeah Cooper is in big trouble....he is only up 17 pts in the current polling...obviously this will tighten up a lot....

One thing for sure that we have learned over the past 10 days or so, there is no longer a need for vote by mail. If you can be out shoulder to shoulder in crowds yelling with or without a mask on, then you sure as heck can safely go to a voting booth distancing 6 feet apart with a mask on. That narrative of it being unsafe to do so went down the drain this week.

Then we look at the voter suppression going on right now, today, in Georgia, and realize, that vote by mail is a much better option. Republicans hate it because they can't suppress the vote like they are doing today in GA.

Republicans hate it because dead people can vote. And the votes are easy to change or rig. Makes illegal voting easier to. Republicans want a fair election with a photo ID to vote

How do you suppress voting on an open primary, exactly? And why would it matter?.

I voted by mail a couple weeks ago but I plan on voting in person in November unless something changes. The place I go to in Georgia right now isn't like what is apparently going on in Atlanta however, probably because I'm a hop, skip, and jump from being in a rural area however.

So, why is it in this day and age with all of our technology that we can't figure out how to account by SS# whether a vote has been cast or not. SMH.

What exactly is being suppressed? 90% of polling places are open in GA and SC today. Which is a lot higher than most states who have had primaries during COVID.

It's easy. Don't provide working machines and supplies needed for voting. Giving people a mail in ballot puts all the power in their hands. Brian Kemp wouldn't want that. We all know he won on a fraudulent basis the first time.
