This aged badlyProbably not. He is going to have to face these charges and will not be finishing this tournament. That assault charge is a felony and may keep him in jail for a while.
100% agreement. Seeing as there were already talks to remove Valhalla from the rotation, this should seal the deal. The infrastructure is piss poor and can't handle it and then this fiasco, should be out of here. The PGA/PGATour should never hold another golf tournament in the state of KY. What a total embarrassment, common sense should have prevailed but it didn't. I imagine the Gov is on the phone right now with these clowns to release him and drop all charges.
My 2c? Scotty was a credentialed member of the tournament doing as others have said, what they were told to do in the event that traffic was a mess. Pull out and go around. My guess is Scotty didn't recognize said cop was not event security since they all had the same high-vis gear on, and may have also told by another cop to just keep going to enter. The cop had an ego trip and doesn't have the IQ to assess the situation, like most do, escalated unnecessarily, including trying to break the window with a flashlight per eye witnesses, and then tried to cover his tracks by playing victim with the trip to the ER and ruined pants.
