Mack’s LIV buddy Koepka and the PGA Tour’s McIlroy are both playing well. Both have won at least two PGA Championships. Rory may be extra fired up due to the just announced filing for divorce, but who knows? Scheffler, who’s been amazing in winning 4 of his last 5, is an obvious favorite. But he’s just become a dad, hasn’t played in three weeks, and hadn’t won a single tourney in any year after the Heritage. So, there’s no telling how he’ll do.

Rory fresh off the divorce filing and a win up in Quail Hollow. Let’s ride him til the wheels fall off. 💰
 
Xander Schauffele, one of the best still without a major, is on fire with the lead at -5 through 10. He’s not as long as Rory’s 317 but he’s not short either with a pretty long 305. Xander currently has the 2nd lowest avg scoring for 2024 with only Scottie, who hasn’t teed off yet, being lower. Xander’s weakness has been rd 4.

Tony Finau is another good golfer with still no major. He’s in 2nd at -4 (through 7).

The avg score so far is ~0.5 over par.

Just threw $2 on Scottie to be in the lead at end of round 1. +10000 odds lol

Probably not. He is going to have to face these charges and will not be finishing this tournament. That assault charge is a felony and may keep him in jail for a while.

I bet you $10k that all these charges get dropped fast or at worst he pays a fine to a lesser misdemeanor charge so the PD don't look like complete idiiots.
