Somehow always getting missed with these pop ups, I swear Garner has its own weather dome or catches the benefits from Raleigh's sometimes.

Got a special weather statement for that rogue storm. Guess it wanted to start early.

Maybe this rain will stabilize things for later. I didn't think we were forecasted to get this much this morning.

Appears as if the HRRR is slowly upping parameters, thanks to it slowly coming to
Realization that we’re not gonna mix dew points down to 55 degrees

There are some flimsy low topped soundings with these storms, meaning it’s gonna be hard for stuff to show up on the 2-5km UH13287872-EBC3-428E-B265-77AD6C75971D.png3766F3E8-8125-4BE5-B6BE-31CEE63D0A6A.pngA76C48EB-2FEA-4AE7-9AE8-B0AAD8342E10.png9DE074C4-FFC1-40C7-A571-B5645E7666C8.png

77/70 but starting to mix now dews to the S where the sun has been out longer and had more time to mix are in the low 60s. We will probably see our dews around here get into the low 60s then recover near/after dark. Interesting that the HRRR has an inversion this evening with a decent amount of cape on top and actually has more cape south of the line of storms it shows on the most recent run with ML capes near 750 and MUcapes over 1000

Hrrr continues to uptrend parameters/MLcape this evening, but coverage is a issue like stated above ^ that mid level dry air however could increase thunderstorm downdraft strength EEE682FA-F423-4721-A37C-893582532B65.png
