My niece in Emory area (NE Atlanta) reported snow flurries just before 5:15PM. She was so excited!
Edit: Also two friends in different parts of Cobb County (NW of Atlantic) saw flurries this afternoon

Report from Morganton. Yes that is a star.
We got a nice burst of snow showers right after I got off of work after 5pm in Ellenwood, GA. It lasted about 2-3 minutes.
Can’t get it to load, but a nice little dusting on the grass here in Wingate. Of course the basset hound had to go for a long walk in it

The cold air had really settled in. It was already down to 35 when I left work at 4:30 in Rutherfordton. By the time I got home it was freezing at the house and we are sitting at 29 with a windchill of 20

You’re right. I honestly didn’t give it much credence until the short range HRRR started picking up on it earlier
Whereas my friends and relatives in Cobb County and NE Atlanta saw snow flurries/showers, my friends in NE Gwinnett (2 miles S of Mall of GA) didn’t see any. Is that consistent with other reports in that portion of Gwinnett? Did they somehow get missed?

I actually saw a lot of sunshine today. I guess the clouds didn't make it this far south !

Snow flurries/showers like this event that hit the upper SE usually give us southerners nothing because of the clouds drying up. But NE Gwinnett county getting missed when much of the north and east sides of ATL area got it would be unusual.

Yep and I feel as though it's robbing those of us in N/NE NC of moisture/potential later. Latest HRRR is the best along that area and the worst run yet up this way. Congrats to you all that have seen flakes though

According to my folks and mPING, looks like snow flurries have made it to Fayetteville
Happy for the Sandhills ! They got robbed multiple times last season while other non mountainous areas of NC scored
Believe it or not,, Daughter, (Whom resides in Whiteville, NC) just called saying Flurries, Mixed w/ Light Rain... About 70 miles from Me (as the bird flies.. )

Not as exciting as snow to be sure but this sort of weather in early November here is not something I or anyone under the age of 70 has experienced in their lifetime

I think it is quite likely we get a small burst from the stream expected to move eastward from the Triad area in a few hours - but expect it to be very short lived
