This is the second straight run the euro has had highs like this
These soundings have tons of shear, given that there is some cape with this is concerning given globals don’t handle cape well

240 hr Euro looks like it’s headed for something with a wave emerging out of the southern Rockies behind the monster trough in the east
Kinda hope that trough in the East can shift north a bit for that second wave

It would be absolutely wild if Atlanta’s first freeze of the season occurred the same day they had below freezing highs ?
I was actually thinking this the other day, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Atlanta hits freezing one afternoon with falling temperatures. ?
Haha true, but hey that’s a solid look, at least there’s already a trough here in place vs the first threat that’s trended towards severe

Eps showing a wave emerging out of the southern Rockies by day 10-11, gotta hope it comes out a bit sooner or the monster trough at day 8-9 holds on a little more.
I really hope we have some cold air to work with here beyond day 10 because wow, the subtropical jet is ripping

Wow lol the southern jet on the Euro control is absurd... How many times have you seen a 150 kt jet streak over the Gulf coast in winter?

I think that the aspect that we're going to need to work towards is the 50/50 low, if we get that, we're golden!
